Macky and Portia have left Jerusalem but in very different circumstances. Portia travels with her uncle - the famous Roman General Tiberius. Macky leaves in chains as a prisoner!

In Episode 27, Gladiator School, Macky arrives in Rome to find that he has been sold to a school for gladiators! He reminds himself and his friends of brave men who spoke out against corruption by telling the story of Amos and Amaziah and the preaching of John the Baptist.

Macky's life is under threat in School’s Out, Episode 28, when the gladiator school manager decides to send him into the arena. Because he won’t kill, he will almost certainly be killed. Portia appeals to Senator Antonius but he seems unwilling to help. We hear the story of King David and the Three Soldiers, and Antonius tells Portia about Jesus speaking in Nazareth.
